My Other Half.
We all have best friends. Whether you met yours in preschool, gradeschool,highschool, or college…you are always blessed with that one special person you can share your secrets with. Let me tell you about mine. In my life-time I have moved around alot, from England to Rancho Cucamonga,CA and everything in between. I have met soo many people, whether they were whole-hearted or back-stabbing. And out of those many people…I found my best friend in the city Fontana. Yip, her name is Sara. We met in highschool through a mutual friend and instantly gained a friendship within eachother. First came the crazy lunches in highschool, then the texting, then the afterschool dates and after that everything has just been amazing. I will have to say senior year is the BEST year i’ve had all through my highschool careeer because of her. In that short time of one year in highschool, we’ve shared many memories and knew many more were to come our way. Then came graduation, our lovely red cap and gowns, and faces showing only one emotion; happiness. However, soon after the happiness, tears were shed as we went our separate ways for college, knowing there would be a change in our lives. Knowing we would not get to spend everyday together like we had done previously was going to kill me. But i was very thankful that she was still in CA. Now, almost 3 years later, we keep in touch EVERYDAY without fail. Even if we’re busy with studying or work, there is still an effort made in the “goodmorning!!” and “goodnight!! sweetdreams!” text messages. Anytime we get the chance, we take that long drive just to see eachother. How many people can you think of that do that? Picture messages, phone calls, skype sessions and supportive youtube videos are the helping hand of this long distance friendship. And through that, not one arguement has been experienced between us. The laughter, tears, excitement, fear, anxiety, stress, and love we share only bring us closer. What can I say? I trust this beautiful woman whole-heartedly and NOTHING will get in the way between us. Know why? Because we won’t let it. And I thank God everyday that I have her in my life because she truly is a blessing.
